Using a DVD Copy Program, You Can Finally Defeat Scratched Discs

There’s so many ways to copy a dvd, but you must make sure that you’re doing it legally. If you’re not careful, you could be looking at getting slammed with a fine in excess of $250,000 or more. Even worse, you might end up doing jail time for making copies of your DVDs (if you’re not careful of course). Find out how I make backup copies of my DVDs.

Okay so I know you’re wondering, then how the heck do I backup a copyrighted DVD? Let’s go over a few things that you must consider before starting to backup your dvd movies.

  • First of all, When making a backup copy of a DVD that has protection, you can not resell it under any circumstances. Don’t even think about attempting to redistribute it either (no free copies can be given away so don’t even think about it!).
  • Secondly, you need to get your hands on software that’s able to copy DVDs from one disc to another. Regardless if you’re a PC or Mac user, there is a dvd cloner that can work for you (but you’re not going to find it in the retail stores)!  The easiest way to get started copying DVD movies is to download a simple software from the Internet.

I’ll admit, the right dvd backup program to do this is going to cost you a few bucks. But, if we’re anything alike, your DVD collection is worth hundreds (possibly even thousands?) of dollars. The dual layer dvd copy software is a small investment that you have to make if you want to prevent your DVDs from getting scratched. The software that I mentioned isn’t even expensive believe it or not, I paid $30 bucks and have already backed up over 20 movies. Let’s see.. that’s $400 that I might be paying in the future if I didn’t find this software.

I’ve been copying my DVD movies for a few months now. During this time I’ve bought and tested 5 different dvd copy program, and I must say that some of them weren’t worth the money. They kept freezing up, they ran sluggish or the quality of the finished product was just plain poor. After testing the software for months on all sorts of DVD movies, I’ve been able to find the best dvd copy software that can successfully copy any DVD up to 99% of the time.

If you’re looking to start immediately, I recommend going with EZ DVD Copy (It’s the only one that gave me no problems).
